If I were a faerie, that’s the flower I’d dance beneath!
What IS that beautiul wildflower??
I don’t know, Lynne! It must be some sort of lily – I’m frustrated as ever with my wildflower ID books.
Pretty, isn’t it!
I’ll be honest–I like the photo of the flower to contemplate a whole lot more than the photo of the toad. My failing, I am sure–but there you have it.
-Nice shade of blue.-The mysterious power of the wildflower.
That is a nice shade of blue. It must be spring.
Spectacular blue! And, I love the effect on the picture. Wonderful! Watching for faeries as I walk around lately.
I hear the fairies giggling. I think it’s scilla . . . . just a guess.
What a pretty blue flower! The garden faeries are surely dancing beneath tonight.
I thought it might be Gentian. But,no. Blue Shooting Star? It is a lily though. Do you know New Jersey has many species of Orchids. If you see some. show us.
Blue flowers and faeries, I can just imagine it!
I can just imagine them having just flown past this giggling with happiness… :c)
A dancing flower – very nice Laura.
My favorite color, and a beautiful flower! Is it some sort of columbine or larkspur?
WOW! What a beautiful flower…I’m searching for the ID
Gorgeous photo!
GORGEOUS!
Wow! How beautiful.
I keep checking back hoping someone give you the id on this flower…
It’s the image of my little brown bun hoping about under wildflowers like this which got her the name Fiona. She just looked like a woodland sprite to me.
laura, are you using a filter on the camera? what’s the wonderful affect or are my eyes deceiving me? this is simply gorgeous.
Lovely lovely lovely!!!
Laura I’d just bet Julie Z. could identify this little blue beauty in a heartbeat. She’s got an encyclopedic knowledge of just about anything in nature.
