Don’t feel bad. They’re not uncommon on talus slopes and other rocky areas around central PA, too, but in all my years in the woods I’ve only ever had a couple glimpses.
Very cool! I didn’t know about these. They certainly give the Pines a southern feel.
“Is said to be” … about a lot of things!!! Those are pretty blendy!
