1. I have never had one and won’t be running out to get them. Does this mean you have completed # 1-17? Or are you working at the list backwards?

4. I’d say more bitter from the pith than sour. A family member coated them in crystallized sugar so they looked like they were coated in ice. It was neat. They were crazy good like that.

5. I’d have to bury them in sugar too!

6. They are beautiful fruit–but I confess to never having tried them. Thanks for the warning.

7. Don’t give up just yet. You can find some really good recipes using kumquats from the Kumquat Growers Association.

8. Never had them. Had my first papaya last week. I liked it.

9. There are good kumquat jellies …. my sister makes some, I could try to get you the recipe … ouch .. quit throwing those things …

10. yeah, bitter. bite ’em raw and they bite back. Like cranky people, you have to sugar them up, to make them tolarable.
