My little poodle used to store food around the house. Thank God, it was the dry stuff.
Our Gidget always burries her food outside too.
Gone squirrel out in the woods!
Simple food caching, a canine/carnivore trait… (I think it’s the same/related thing that drives some cats to put their toys in the water bowl–a safe, familiar storage spot.)
