Part of the joy in taking photographs, to me, lays in the discovery of simple and familiar things seen in a different perspective. Today that joy was from the summer sky above the delicate blossoms of Queen Anne’s Lace.

Lovely. I thought they were dandelion puffs at first.
I love that perspective, too. Very nice photograph.
Did you ever take a picture of sea gulls? Do it on a beautiful day when the sky is blue, start feeding them, while some of them are flying over head throw bread up and snap a picture, they are beautiful against the blue sky with their wings spread out.
Gorgeous – what a beautiful capture!
Cheers, Klaus

I was only introduced to Queen Anne’s Lace in last week’s SWF. It is a very beautiful plant and makes a wonderful show against the sky.
